Bio

Madi Goldsmith is a self-taught textile artist based in Central Florida. They are known for creating visually stimulating quilts, reworked clothing and other soft goods. Using primarily second-hand textiles, their process involves a lot of trial and error- experimenting with color, texture and shape to complete each piece.

Currently Madi is expanding further into the visual arts sphere - creating on a larger scale and producing ‘soft paintings’ that incorporate quilting techniques as well as soft sculptural craft.

When she isn’t in her studio, she can be found swimming in the springs, eating ice cream, travelling, and spending time with her family.
